1st Cohort of Eureka! girls

Girls Incorporated and the College of Nanoscale Science & Engineering (CNSE) are entering the second year of the Nanotechnology based Girls Inc. Eureka!® program and are seeking applicants for the class of 2018. This unique initiative seeks to recruit a cohort of 30 girls, all of whom will be entering 8th grade this fall.

Girls Inc. Eureka! is a FREE five-year program.  The first two years of the program, girls commit to attending a four-week summer camp at the UAlbany NanoCollege. The summer program will feature hands-on nanoscale education, personal development and sports & adventure buy valtrex online programs. It will also include weekly field trips focused on the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

In years three through five, girls will participate in four-week long paid internships with local STEM businesses and organizations. Additional support is provided through continued programming during each school year and ongoing assessment throughout the program.
