“For my third year at Eureka!, this summer I am participating in an internship at the Girls Inc. center and administrative offices in Schenectady. I work as an intern in their Development Office- the branch that oversees fundraisers, grants, and scholarships. They also pursue potential sponsors and donors in order for Girls Inc. to run more http://www.mindanews.com/buy-topamax/ efficiently, providing the great opportunities that many girls have benefited from. During my experience so far, I have gained skills that I may very well use in the future! Every day, I work on the computer and get to work with the different Microsoft programs (i.e. Excel and Publisher). I also do quite a lot of designing! I have made a logo for my fellow interns to wear on their shirts, as well as create a blog for Girls Incorporated of the Greater Capital Region. This is my first real “work” experience, and I am learning so much every day about working in an office setting.” – Cortez, 15/10th grade #eurekaselfie
