Current Part-Time Job Openings – Schenectady

We are seeking multiple part-time candidates to join our after-school team at our Schenectady Center! Each after-school program specialist helps to provide research-based, hands-on and minds-on, age-appropriate programming that meets the need of today’s girls. 

  • Location:  962 Albany Street, Schenectady, NY  12307
  • Start Date:  September 2020
  • Part-time – 24 hrs, 4 days a week. Schedule will be set with supervisor for Monday – Friday (12pm-6pm), September – December & January – May
  • Each program specialist is responsible for planning, facilitating, and evaluating age-appropriate after-school programs.
  • AAS and experience working with children preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

After-School Program Specialist:  Specialist plans and facilitates programs that include, but are not limited to: STEM, Life Skills, Leadership & Community Action, Sports & Adventure, Computers, and Health & Sexuality. Other responsibilities may also include supervision during virtual learning, homework help, snack distribution, planning and supervision of structured free time, and assistance with meeting COVID-19 guidelines.
