Girls Inc. Mission:

Girls Inc. Programming:

We serve more than 1,000 girls a year through our award winning, research-based programs offered through our after-school programs, school vacation week programs, Summer Fun Camp, Eureka!, and outreach programs. 

We deliver programming at our Schenectady Site, located at 962 Albany St., Schenectady NY 12307 and at our Albany Site, located at 301 Washington Ave., Albany NY 12206 on the second floor of the NABA building. Our after-school programming runs from September to December and January to May each school year.

Schenectady Site Manager

Job Description:  In coordination with the Director of Programs & Program Specialists, the manager will plan, implement and evaluate all Schenectady programs, including site-based and extension after-school programs. Plan, implement and evaluate Schenectady Summer Fun and all fee-based programs. Supervise Schenectady Program Specialists, Volunteers, and Summer Fun staff. 

Schedule:  September-May, Monday-Friday 10am-6pm / May-August, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Work, Human Services or related field; experience working with youth program development, implementation and evaluation; and staff supervision required. Valid driver’s license.
