Girls Inc. of the Greater Capital Region is one of 78 Girls Inc. affiliates in North America and the only one located in Upstate New York. Our agency serves more than 400 girls each year through free after school programming in Albany, Schenectady, and Troy. Our centers in Albany and Schenectady are located in two of the most impoverished neighborhoods in the region. Our Troy program resides at a satelite location within the Capital Region Arts Center. Beyond the Tri-Cities, we serve girls from seven surrounding counties through our free five-year college and career readiness program.
