Strong, Smart, and Bold Awards

The Strong, Smart, and Bold Awards is an annual celebration hosted by Girls Inc. of the Greater Capital Region to honor those who embody and advance our mission of inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. Each year, we take the opportunity to recognize individuals both within and beyond our organization who make a lasting impact on the girls we serve. This year, we are proud to honor Whitney Closson as our Woman of the Year, the Adirondack Trail Improvement Society as our Community Partner of the Year, and the Leadership Capital Region Class of 2024 with the Impact Award. These honorees have demonstrated exceptional dedication to empowering girls and strengthening our community.  

This signature event, presented by Mazzone Hospitality, includes a cocktail-style reception, a silent auction to benefit Girls Inc., and live musical performances. It serves as a powerful evening of inspiration and empowerment, where community members come together to celebrate those who make positive change possible.
