Our New Connected Learning Center, Powered by AT&T

We’re thrilled to announce the opening of the Connected Learning Center (CLC) at our Schenectady location, made possible through a generous partnership with AT&T. This new, tech-filled space is designed exclusively for our K-5 girls, creating a vibrant environment where they can discover, create, and build the digital skills essential for the future!

Our CLC is more than just a place with computers—it’s a game-changer for our after-school program. Now, our girls K-5 have access to laptops, free internet, and a range of digital resources that will empower them to tackle school projects, explore STEM activities, and gain confidence in technology. Thanks to AT&T, they also have access to The Achievery, a free digital learning platform packed with fun, educational content.

The new center is part of AT&T’s commitment to closing the digital divide, and we’re so excited that this space will serve as a bridge to the digital world for our girls. When they walk into the CLC, they step into a space that’s all about them—a safe, supportive environment where they can experiment, learn, and imagine what’s possible.

To top it off, this launch comes on the heels of some other exciting improvements at our Schenectady location. Earlier this year, with the help of the Capital Region Chamber’s Leadership Class, we renovated two other rooms—the Zen Den and the Teen Tech Room—making our Schenectady site a growing hub of inspiration, learning, and support for girls of all ages.

The Connected Learning Center is now open and has already created a fun environment as our girls dive into hands-on activities and engage with new technology. At Girls Inc., we’re all about inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold, and this new space brings us one step closer to that mission.

Thank you to AT&T for helping us make this a reality and to everyone in the community who continues to support our girls’ dreams!
