This year’s Valley Cats Dash to the Diamond Charity is Girls Incorporated of the Greater Capital Region. Join the Valley Cats at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium on August 3, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. for a Group Fun Run for Girls Inc. Each participant will receive a grandstand ticket to the Valley Cats game on August 3, a one hour pre-game Field of Dreams Picnic and more!

From Buffalo to Albany

?John Reschovsky, Chair of the Girls Incorporated Foundation Trust of Schenectady (GIFTS), recently biked the Erie Canalway from Buffalo to Albany as a fundraiser for Girls Inc. of the Greater Capital Region. His trek, completed in 8 days, totaled 413 miles.
Little Falls, New York is about half-way from Buffalo to Albany when traveling by bicycle along the Erie Canalway.
Although the sky is blue and the sun is shining here in Rome, New York with the historic Fort Stanwick in the background, John said there was rain to contend with during the 8-day trek. Shown here are his accommodations for the trip – a 413-mile bike ride from Buffalo to Albany, New York along the Erie Canalway. John rode as a fundraiser to benefit Girls Inc. of the Greater Capital Region.
