A unique opportunity to celebrate female trailblazers and their contributions to our modern culture and society, while committing to support girls and their futures.
What is Girls Inc. of the Greater Capital Region?
Girls Inc. of the Greater Capital Region is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has been serving girls in the Capital Region of New York for more than 85 years. Our organization is one of 78 Girls Inc. affiliates in North America and the only one in Upstate New York.
We are committed to keeping services FREE for girls.
Girls Inc. inspires all girls to be strong, smart, and bold by providing evidence-based programming delivered by trained staff in a pro-girl environment. How does your donation impact the Girls?
When you make a gift to Girls Inc., we use those resources responsibly. 82 cents of every $1 is directed to programming and the development of the whole girl. How can you make a significant impact on girls in just 31 days?
$10 a week can provide a girl with a nourishing snack every day for a month.
$25 a week can provide a girl with a week of Summer Fun camp
$50 a week can provide transportation for a field trip beyond the city
$100 a week can provide a year’s worth of experimental science workshops that could lead to a girl becoming a chemist, engineer, doctor, or inventor
Why should my business participate?
Far too many girls don’t have access to the life-changing Girls Inc. experience that provides the vital combination of long-term mentorship, safe spaces, and access to knowledge and skills building that enables all girls to succeed in life.
Your support will have a transformational impact:
- Changing the life of a local girl
- Providing resources to expand Girls Inc. to the communities that need us most
- Moving us closer to a time when every girl can be strong, smart, and bold
