Current Part-Time Job Openings – Schenectady

Job Title: Program Coordinator

Location: 962 Albany Street, Schenectady, NY 12307
 Start Date: Immediately
Part-time, 20 hours a week, Monday-Friday, 2pm-6pm. Schedule may fluctuate
with the needs of the 2021/2022 school year.
 Experience working in office environment. Experience with office equipment.
Supervision or managerial experience preferred. Must be able to multi-task, be
organized and be computer literate.
Prepare correspondence, reports, special program materials and other items, as
directed by Program Staff. All materials generated to be neat, accurate and
professionally presented and in compliance with agency guidelines. Should be
familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher.
Answer telephones, directing calls to the appropriate staff member or taking
messages when necessary. Greet and assist vendors, parents and guests
entering the building. Present a positive, professional, competent image of Girls
Incorporated ® and assist adults and children to receive information or services
they request.

Job Title: After-school Program Staff

  • Location: 962 Albany Street, Schenectady, NY 12307
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Part-time, 20hours/5days a week. Anticipated schedule will be Monday-Friday 2:00-6:00pm. Schedule may fluctuate with the needs of the 2021/2022 school year.
  • Each program specialist is responsible for planning, facilitating and evaluating age appropriate after-school programs.
  • AAS and experience working with children preferred, valid driver’s license required.

Specialist is responsible for planning and facilitating programs that include, but not limited to, STEM, Life Skills, Leadership & Community Action, Sports & Adventure, Computers, and Health & Sexuality. Other responsibilities may also include supervision during virtual learning, homework help, snack distribution, planning and supervision of structured free time, and assistance with meeting COVID-19 guidelines.
