National Grid and Summer Fun

National Grid is a generous supporter of Girls Inc. of the Greater Capital Region, and helps to fund the ?Summer Fun? program that runs for 4 weeks at the Girls Inc. Schenectady center and for 6 weeks at its center in Albany. Every year, through hands-on, interactive presentation, National Grid staff members introduce some of their STEM-related career possibilities to the summer campers who are mostly middle-school age. This summer’s visit to our Albany center was covered by Time Warner Cable News Network .
