On Saturday, October 21st, more than 50 girls had the chance to participate in our first Strong, Smart and Bold Institute held at Siena College.
The day included:
- Breakfast & lunch at Snyder Hall
- A tour of Siena’s campus
- A Financial Aid information session & campus tour just for parents
- Unique, hands-on programming in the Morrell Science Center, facilitated by students enrolled in Siena’s Albany Medical College Program.
- Exciting programming about entrepreneurship at the Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship in Siena’s new Stack Center.
- A College Reality Series facilitated by Girls Inc. Staff.
We would like to thank the amazing students, professors, and staff for welcoming us on campus and giving our ladies an informative and empowering day. Thank you to Sara Rindenello, Dr. Dorecy Applyrs & Destiny Roseman for kicking of the day with some inspirational words!
