Troy Program Coordinator

Position Overview:

The Program Coordinator will play a key role in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Girls Inc.’s programs and initiatives. This position requires a dynamic individual who is passionate about empowering young girls and can manage multiple projects while working collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and community partners.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Program Management:
    • Develop, coordinate, and oversee daily operations of Girls Inc.’s programs and activities.
    • Ensure programs are delivered in accordance with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Monitor program performance, track outcomes, and make recommendations for improvements.
    • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, schools, and other organizations.
    • Recruit, train, and manage volunteers and program facilitators.
    • Act as a liaison between Girls Inc. and external stakeholders to promote program success and sustainability.
    • Administrative Support:
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to program activities and participant data.
    • Generate reports and provide updates to senior management.
    • Outreach and Promotion:
    • Represent Girls Inc. at community events and other outreach opportunities.
    • Evaluation and Reporting:
    • Develop and implement methods for assessing program effectiveness and impact.
    • Collect and analyze data to report on program success and areas for improvement.
    • Ensure compliance with organizational standards.

Qualifications:

    • Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, or a related field, preferred but not required.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in program coordination, project management, or a related role working with children.
    • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with database management systems.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
